Bulbophyllum grandiflorum is native to New Guinea, Malaysia, the Solomon Islands, Sumatra and Sulawesi; it is an epiphytic orchid species with green-yellow to pale bronze-coloured flowers; these are around 10-15 cm in size, quite striking and impressive; it can flower for up to a month.
